ABOUT 085c3n3

085c3n3 is a multidisciplinary artist based in Meanjin (Brisbane). His work explores the interrelationship between personally inspired nostalgia and the viewer role in creating a sense of place. This is achieved by recontextualising redundant objects, discarded machines and antiquated art making methods. He is particularly interested in delivering and installing work in non-traditional spaces that typically are uninviting in nature such as multi-deck car parks, alleyways, and suburban wastelands.

ABOUT THE MINI ZINE LIBRARY PROJECT

The Mini Zine library project is the brain child of multi disciplinary artist adam lewczuk AKA 085c3n3 - developed for the Little Festival to encourage festival attendees to explore the nooks and crannies of Newcastle’s CBD. 7 individually designed mini libraries (20cm (h) x 11cm (w) x 8cm (d) have been placed throughout the festival precinct for punters to discover randomly or as a part of the mini ZINE library trail starting from the festival hub/ head quarters Playstate Curate (map below). Each mini library contains A6 zines, slaps and artefacts to read or take and local zinesters can leave their own zines during the festival
